May 5. John Bull, schooner, 71 tons, Twohey, master, from Sydney, with sundries. Passenger— Mr. Merrett. H. R. Cretnay, agent.

DEPARTURES — FOREIGN. May 6. Deborah, schooner, 121 tons, Bliss, master, for Sydney, with timber, flax, wool, &c. Passengers —Mr. Stack and son, Mrs. Bolger and 2 children, Messrs. Midwood, Bradbury, McCann, and Watt. J. Macky, agent. May 6. Julia, brig, 110 tons, Clark, master, forHobart Town. Passengerss — Mr. Barrow, and 7 Prisoners of the Crown. D. Nathan, agent.

The Mauki'n sailed from Sydney on the 23rd ult. She spoke no vessels on the passage, but saw a brig on the 29ih, hove to under close -reefed topsails, in lat. 36 S. and long. 164 E.: supposed to be the Emma, from this place. The Maukm has been very fortunate in successful and speedy trips, under her present Captain. This voyage is her sixth between Auckland and Sydney, within the last eleven months. She has brought down two fine horses for Mr. Grahame, and they have been landed in excellent condition. ' The Elora, Capt. Turnbull, hence 23rd March, arrived at Sydney, on the 9th April, and sailed for Bombay on the 15th. The barque Gypsy, Capt Garwood, arrived atHobart Town from Kaipara, with timber,, on the 7th March. The schooner Terror, Capt. Dunning, sailed from Sydney, for Java, on the 4th April.
