ODD FELLOWS' DINNER.

The Third Anniversary Dinner of the Fountain of Friendship Lodge, 1. 0. 0. F., M.U., was held at the Exchange Hotel, on Satnrday last, the 27th February. The large room wasaowded, and the chair was occupied by P. G. M. Hart ) Y. G. Derrom, officiating as croupier. The usual loyal toasts were introduced to the Meeting by the Chairman, with appropriate introductory remarks, and drank with applause: that of His Excellency the Governor being received with tumultuous cheers. The following toaili were also drank amid universal applause : "The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Manchester Unity/ by the Chairman. •« The Board of Directors and other Officers ot the Order," by Mr. Mcllvvaine ; replied to in a neat address, by N. G. Hallamore. " The New Zealand district, and the Widow and Orphans' Fund,'' by P. G. Griffin. " The Motto of the Order," by P. G. Croabie. «' Mr*. Grey, and the Ladies of Auckland," by the Croupier. " Colonel Gold, and the Officers of the 65th Regt." and a variety of other toasts. Much is due to the worthy Host of the Exchange Hotel, for the sumptuous entertainment he bad provided, which, for style, quantity, and quality, might have vied with any London establishment. The evening's amusement was much enlivened (through the kindness of Colonel Gold) by the attendance of the excellent band of H. M. 65th Regt. t in short, the utmost harmony prevailed, and the evening passed off with the greatest hilarity and satisfaction to all present The company broke up at half-past 1 1 o'clock.

Hobart Town.— By the arrival of the Pilot at the Bay of Islands, we have Hobart Town papers to the 6th Feb. The new Governor Sir W. Denison had arrived, and on the same evening that he was sworn in, the late Governor Sir Eardly Wilmot died at the residence of his private Secretary. We copy the announcement of his death, which will be found in another column, from a Hobart Town paper,
