On Dec. 1 6tb, the baique Jane, of Sydney," whaler, Capt. Lee, 22 months out, 700 barrels sperm ; also, 'same day, the schooner Industry, of llobart Town, 5 mouths out, 2 tons black oil. Off the North Cape, on Dec. 10th, the barque IVoodlarh, of Sydney, whaler, 1 1 mouths out, 800 barrels sperm and' 200 black. The7'error experienced, former, an unusually long 1 passage Irom Sydney,- having met with a succession of bad weather and calms. Shortly after her departure from Sydney, she shipped several heavy seas, but fortunately sustained no -material damage. She left Sydney on the 22nd November, and arrived here on the 12t"h inst. She is now loading with timber for Sydney, and is to sail on Monday.
