Oct. 8. Linnet, schooner, 12 tons, Evans, master, for Bay of Plenty, iv ballast. The Maukin left Sydney on the 3rd inst, and arrived on Tueseay morn ing -last, after a fine run .of id days. Her cargo consists qfgeneial merchandise. The John Bull {eft Sydney for this Port on th,e 25th\Septenaber, but has not yet arrived. The passengers on board are Miss Aiderdice, ' Mr. and Mrs. Brown, and two children. The William Hyde, had arrived at Sydney Jrom London, and was to sail for Auckland and Hqjdanga on the 11th October. The Avoca, barque, Captain Howey, was to sail from Sydney, for Auckland direct on the 12th October.
