DCROSBIE, of Shortland-street, takes • this opportunity to return thanks to the Inhabitants of Auckland and vicinity, for their previous patronage ; and begs to state that he is enabled to offer Gentlemen, an excellent variety of Fine Cloths, Colonial Tweeds, &c, &c, for Coats, Vests, and Pantaloons. He also wishes to announce that he has recently engaged a person whose abilities are well calculated to give general satisfaction to the trade, Ladies Habits, Naval and Regimental Uniforms, and Childrens Tunic Dresses, executed with neatness and dispatch. CHEAP BREAD.

AT A MEETING of the Shareholders of "The Union Baking Company/ held on the 24th instant, it was resolved— That the Company do not commence Baking at present, being satisfied in having accomplished the object they had in view — viz : a reduction in the price of Bread— and having no desire to interfere with any class or trades, men, further than to protect themselves from imposition. But, should it at any future time be found necessary, the Committee and officers of the Company will meet immediately to put their plans in operation. Auckland, 25th March, 18*6.
