GORRIE, BEGS leave to inform the inhabitants of Auckland and its vicinity, that he has commenced business as conpectioner, lozenge manufacturer, and Pastry Cook ; And hopes that, by keeping on hand articles of the very best quality, he will meet with a share of public patronage. As W. G. manufactures all his goods himself, he warrants -his Lozenges, Mixtures, Caraways, Barley Sugar, Acidulated Drops, &c, to be unadulterated, and, he believes, superior ,to anything of the kind hitherto offered to the public. N.B.~— Merchants supplied ivholesale. Bride Cakes Iced and Ornamented. Sponge Cake, Plum, and Pound Cake, High-st., Auckland, Septembers, 1345.
WESLEYAN MISSIONS. A MISSIONARY MEETING will be held A m the Wesleyan Chapel, Auckland, on Monday, the 22nd instant. Chair to be taken at Six o'CJock, p. m. Several of the Missionaries from the North and South of the Island may be expected to attend. I September 12, 1845.
