On Tuesday last, the cargo of the Aurora, from 'Hokianga, consisting of twentythree tons of Kauri Gum, was sold by Mr. Hart, and realized £U per ton, on board. Messrs. Brown & Campbell, on Thursday, put up for sale a beautiful herd of young cattle, consisting of thirty-six head, and the whole realized the sum of £2\l One cow was sold for £12, and the whole averaged above £G per head. The result of this, and previous recent sales of Stock, evince a confidence in the brightening prospects of the Colony, which, we anticipate, will daily increase. On Tuesday next, there will be a numerous herd of Stock, as well as Horses of the choicest breed in the Colony, sold by Mr. Hart.
