MESSRS. ELLIOTT, SON, & HUGHES, Licensed Surveyors, Land Agents, Road Engineers. &c, — Beg to acquaint their Friends and Landed Proprietors gpne-ally, that the late occurrences at the Bay of Islands and other places, having rendered it desirable that Settlers should concentrate around the neighbourhood of Auckland, where Life and Property will be safely protected. Land here must necessarily shortly be in great demand, and consequently raised in value in proportion to the depressed value of land in the disturbed settlement, which is now said to be valueless; they are now commissioned to offer land unrivalled in quality and locality, and in sight of Auckland, in lots from Twenty to One Hundred Acres, or upwards, to suit the convenience of Purchasers, for the present on very low terms. They are also prepared, having perfect knowledge of the Native Language, to negociate for the purchase of land from the Natives, and to make the required Surveys, and Plans, for obtaining the Crown Title at a •very low scale of prices, according to the quantity and nature of the ground. Messrs. E. & H. having had great experience as Mining Surveyors in England, offer their services to make Plans, Mineralogical and Geological Sections, furnishing reports and every other information, useful either to resident or non-resident Proprie-
tors. Road Surveys, Plans, Sections, Estimates, Reports, and every other department of Surveying, executed with accuracy and fidelity. Auckland, July, 3, 1845
