WELLINGTON, March 28. • The New Zealand crxcket team delighted folloAvers of the game by piling on the splendid score of 410 for four wickets in the second innj ings of the second test match j against the Melbourne Club to-day. J Blunt and Mills gave the side a I splendid start by putting on 136 for the first wiclcet. Later on Dacre fell upon the tired bowling and gave a spectacular display of hitting which delighted the fair-sized crowd. Blunt registered his third successive century in a test match jnnings, a feat which has never before been approached a New Zealand batsraan. The lowest score by any of the six batsmen was 35 not out. It was an exceller.t advertisement for the English tour. The match was left drawn. T.he weather l was again ideal and the wicket wore well. MELBOURNE. First innings 493 /NEW ZEALAND.
