Received Sunday 11 p.m. WASHINGTON, March 26. Arrangements for trading wool futures ou the New York icotton exchange are expected to result from inquiries by the Exchange committee, the ©hairman of which sald that a practical plan can ihe worked out to give thei consumers of wool j the same protection that cotton buyers now enjoy through hedging fa. cilities. He said that where the need for a future market exists, and the volume of business transacted justifies the estahlishment of such, a way will he found eventually, to overcomes difficulties. The committee will investigate industries from every angle of production, market jpreparation, shipping, market distribution, weaving and spinning. The hearings will probably be held at Boston, Pliiladelphia, and other wool centres, and the co-operation of the United States wili he spught.
