ST. PATRICK'S CONCERT.
FIRST CLASS ENTERTAINMENT. i > ■ The high standard of entertainment aimed at hy the organisers of St. Patrick's concert each year was fully maintained in the programmo submitted in the Opera House last evening and it can be faithfully stated that an Oamaru audience has seldom had the' opportunity of hearing so many first class performers on one programme. In this connection the work of Father O'Reilly must not be allowed to pass unnoticed, for it was on his shoulders that the heavy work fell and to him must go a great deal of the eredit for the success achieved. Notivithstanding the inclemency of the weather the theatre was well filled by appreciative hearers who marked their approval by encoring, with enthusiasm, every item. The concert was ably stage-managed. delays between the items being completcl'eliminated. Violin solo, Master Denis Kelly; Song. "Macushla" Mr Alan Shrimpton. The accompaniments were artistically played hy Mr P. Hanley, of Dunedin.
