Received Wednesday, 8.5 p.m. LONDON, March 22. - Riding in the Pytcnley Steeole- • chase, ihe Prlnce of Wales led a 1 field of sixteen oVer the first jump, ! which he took brilliantly, but the ] horse stumbled on landing. The : Prince was throw'n fifteen yards. He | somersaulted and landed on his J back. He lay moiichless with" his ; arms protecting his head until the j field had passed. He then jumped up j unhurt and smiling, and chased his , mount. A i'arm worker caught the ; animal and assisted the Prince to ifi mount. He oatted the \horse's neclc 1 and said : "You old fool!''
