SYDNEY, Last Night. The latest reports are that Windbag considerahJy impi'oved over the week-end. He revisited the tracks this morning and, although his leg is still tender, showed little sign of lameness. He was not exercised, and it will be impossible till he is galloped to tell whether He can go on with his preparations,~but the outlook has certainly improved. He will be left amongsT the first acceptors for the Sydney Cup which will make their appearance to-day. He will also be nominated for the weight-for-age events at the Randwick meeting. * Weights for the Rosehill meeting next Saturday are. Hurdles — Stoney 10.8, Knighthood 9.2. Renown Plandicap — Boaster 10.8 (top), Limerick 10.7, Fool's Paradise 9.11, Parody 9.3> Battlement 9.0, Reonui 8.13, Giggle 8.10. Duke of Yorlc Handicap — Yalamita 9.0 (top), Calcite 7.9, Imperial Spark 7.7, Rawhetu 6.13, Quendong 6.12. HOLIDAY HANDICAP — Boaster and Limerick 10.1 (top), Battlement 8.9. Calcite 8.6. , First acceptances for the Doncaster leave 72 horses in the race, including Amounis. Fool's Paradise, Horoscope, White Fang, Battlement, Reonui, and Giggle. In tfye Sydney Cup fifty-nine horses are left including Wiridbag, Count .Cavour, Limerick, Naos, > Battlement, Imperial Spai'k and Ra- j whetu,
