CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Albert Vivian Whitta was arrested yesterday and charged (a) that being the occupier of a room on the Royal Exchange building he did keep same as a common gaming house; (b) That he did carry on business as a hookmaker. Whitta appeared before Mr Mosley, S.M., and was remanded. The premises referred to are those raided by the police a few days ago. Two ipen were arrested on that occasion
