AN APPEAL UPHELD.
WELLINGTON, Last Night. The N.Z. Racing Conference today upheld the appeal of J. S. Barrett against the decision of the Auckland District Committee, aixd awarded J. S. Barrett, owner of C'ount Cavour, and winner of the Cliffoi-d Plate, 1927, the third stake money of 50 sovs. under part XXVI. imle 3 of the Rules of Racing. The Conference also ordered BarreU'r ^20 denosit to be returned. *>
