PARIS, March 11., Alleging that the Socialist Gov-ernor-General of Indo-China, Alexandra Yareene, had protected a high colonial admihistrator who prompted murdcrs, the newspaper "Liberte" has induced the Gjovernment to consent to a discussion upon Varenne's administration in thf Chamber of Deputies next week "Liberte" asserts that the same administrator is also guilt^' of extorlion, violence and illegal *execulions, The paper says the administrator illegally sentenged four natives, then fearing that a certain prisoner would reveal his malpractice, he forced the police to murder him. The police confessed to receiving 30s ra ward. Further charges, on that the State administrator ordered two prisoners to be hanged, though the necessary authorisation was not obtained. In the case of one of the prisoners, the rope broke and the police riddied him with hullets. The "Liberte" accuses Varenrie»of not only failing to bring the admisistrator to justice, but actually pro•moting him.
