MELBOURNE; Last Night. In the seven miles Cycling Championship, of Australia, H. Oppermen beat F. Correy easily by a lap in 8min 22secs, breaking the Australian and New Zealand record. Les Munro won the half mile chanipionship and Lamb the ten mile. SYDNEY, Last Night. * The match race between Henderson (New Zealand) and Simms (New South Wales) resulted in Henderson winning the first two heats and Simms the third, covering the last furlong in 13 3-5secs against Henderson's previous 14 l-5secs and 14 3-8secs.
