MELBOURNE, Last Night. Damage to the extent of £15,000 to £20,000 was done to Stewart Dawson's building at the corner of Collins and Swanston streets at midday. Two women were trapped within the building and two men who rushed to their assistance had to be removed by the fire brigade with ladders. Another man clung to the leclge of the top floor till rescued by the firemen." ,
