piiiJLioUiN, saturday. Officials remaining in Nelsonwith the Duchess visited the Renown this afternoon. Heavy seas for a launch were running in the bay. The Town Clerk (Mr G. A. Edmonds), accompanying the party, fell into the sea between the launch and the Renown gangway. .He was pluckily rescued by Mr Batterbee (political adviser to the Royal party).
