THE AVERAGES.

The batting and bowling averages which have been compiled by Mr T. Jacobs, for the past season are given below. Hubbard, who played most of his games for School and has latterly been connected with the Union Club, heads the batting averages his figures, with the assistance of six not outs, being 47.5. Zimmerman scored the greatest number of runs, 546, for an average of 45.5. McBeath, of the Union Club bas pride ot place among the bowlers, his 48 wickets being obtained at just over 10 runs apiece, a very consistent performance. Details are appended:—
