MARTON, Last Night; Eai'ly this morning a car containing a party of Wanganui sportsmen returniiig fronx the Purdj'"-Grime boxing match at Wellington yesterday evening, left the road neai'"" Turakina. and overturned. All receivecl injuries which in two cases were serious. The party comprised T. Sotitar (driver), W. Quigley (bank manager), T. Haidey (hotel licensee), ancl John Coull (auctioneer), Harley had one leg broken and it is feared the other is fractured. Quigley had a shoulder and ribs ciushed. The former has been admitted to the hospital. NAPIER, Last Night. When Peneus fell in the Omaranui I-Iurdles at Napier Park to-day his rider (A. M'Donald), one of the leading cross-country ridei-s in tlx3 Dominion, sustained a fractured kneecap and was taken to a prlvatc hospital. ^ , *
