CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Calls made this morning for labour to work the Stox-m and one hold of the Tremeadow were accepted, but on reaching the steamers the men again refused to start xxnless six xxxen gangs Avere placed at the holds. A lxxeeting of the local disputes coiximittec was held and the men then recommenced work under the old conditions.
