On Thrsday morning at Palmerston North the Duke rose at 6 a.m., and aOcompanied by his private secretary (Mr Hodges) paid a visit to Nathan and Co.'s dried milk factory, where they witnessed the whole of the interesting pi'ocess from the time the milk was brought in until it was packed into tins in its dried form. His Highness was extremely interested, and through enquiry got a quick grip of the process of manufacture.
