Assets— S<ock, L 7476 ; prupuriy, LC2 ; c«sh and billy, L 213 0; surplus from B 'ourod creditors, L22BU— total, L 10.099 The Bank of New Zeal .ml, L35.45G, and Mr Friedlander, LlO.OOO, are s cured oreditors. At it m-etin^ held list night fociimdor the hospital question the following or gfwiisations wore represented : Knighti of Labo ', Progre-mivrt L beral Asm dation, BoiUrraakeis' Union, 0 n-orbury Women's Institute, and Tailors' Union. The following resolution was onrried : "That this meeting cordially endorses the action of the deputation which waited on the Hosp'tal BoarJ, and that itjoinawith all.the other political organisations and pubic geneially in demanding a searching judicial and public enqui.y, to he held without any further lo<o of ittue, into the hospital numtvgenent." Mr G. J. Smith, M.H.R , undertook to telegraph the resolution to tho Minister of Justice.
