Thero ia little activity in the cereal market this week. Merchants do not now buy to bold ; and miller* have laid in considerable stocks. There in not much prospect of prices suddenly advancing, and millers are prepared to pay higher prices should the market advance, because the price of flour would rise with the advance in wheat. Locally the purchases made have been at from 2s 4^d to 2s 6Jd for Tuscan and velvet prime qualities. As high as 2s6£d has been given forf o,b. lines, bat th it brines the price & little under the 2s ojd quoted as net to the farmer. Seconds are at 2s, and fowls' feed 2d to M p r bushel less. Oats have been in fair demand for feeding and milling purposes, but the market ia weak. o<tts for feed have sold at Hi p n r bushel, but Is to Is 2d for feed, and Is 3d for short, are the usual prices tor fair to prime simple*. Barley: Medium samples of malting barley command up to 2« 6d to 2a Sd ; first-class samples fiom 3d to 4d more, but business in this cereal is dull. Potatoes arc at from 35s to 37s 6d per ton, and in instances 40a has been paid. There is no alteration in the other products. Diiry Produce : Factory Butter, lOd ; dairy, 81 to 9d ; eggs, lOd to Is. Pork, 3}i«, heads aud feet off.
