Rosostcm had a long lead all the way until the last hurdle, when he came down. Kingaroo also foil dur ng tho race, and his jockey (Cripps) sustained concussion of the brain and is in a serious condition. Cadet won easily. Timo, 6miu 15sccs. All Aged Stakes, 1 milo. — Georgie (Tuckman), 1 ; Wallace (Morrison), 2; Noblnnan (Harris), 3. Ten horses started. Botting : 3 to 1 against Wallaco, 5 to 1 Ruonalf and Hova, 6to I Solanum, 10 to 1 the others. Wallaco led until rounding tho bond, when ho bogan to toil, and Georgie coining fast on tho inside won rather comfortably by a length. Time, linin 408CC8, Welter Handicap, 1 mile.—Sundial, 9st lOlbs, 1 ; Little Agnes, 93t 71bs, 2 ; Pharamond. 9st 71bs, 3. Twenty-threo horses started. Won by half a length. Timo, Jmi" 43sec9. Seventh Biennial Stakes, 6 furlonga. — Bob Hay, 1 ; Valient, 2 ; Aleloma, 3. Sevon started. Betting : 2to 1 against Challon- ! ger, 3 to 1 Bob Ray, 6 to 1 Blue Cap, 0 to 1 Valient and Melema Form and Challenger were prominent until fairly in tho straight, when Bob Ray smothered the field, and won as ho liked. Time, lmin lGJsecs. Cumberland Stakes 2 miles.-r-Havoo (Gough), 1 ; Burton (Ellis), 2 ; The Harvester (Stevenson), 3. Six started. Betting ; 5 to 2 against Tho Harvester, 6 to 4 Cobbity, 5 to 1 Havoo and Hova. Burton acted as pilot until rounding the bend the second time, when Cobbity and The Harvester put in their claim, but Havoc, coming with a wet sail, won a good race by two lengths. Time, 3mins 47secs. City Handicap, 1J mile. — lolanthus, 7st 21b* (Delany), 1 ; Vanitas, 7st 3lbs (Fielder), 2 ; Nobleman, 7st (Tierney), 3. Twentythreo started. Betting : 0 to 1 Vanitas, 7 to 1 Clive, 8 to 1 Atlas, 12 to 1 Patroness, any price the others. lolanthus was in a good position throughout, and after a great race home between the placed horses, won | by a neck.
