B<*rriball, of the Wniuku Cavalry, has died of bluod poisoning. lie w.is 16 years in (he corp«, and arrived In the colony 53 years ago, A supposed suicide of an elderly lady (Mary Blowd) aged 85, took place at the residence of her son in Grey strtet. She was f"uod in an outhtme with her throat cut with a razor, and was taken into the hcupe, but died before medical aid could arrive. Information has been received by the police of the supposed suicide of C. Robeits, at Rluritahi, 22 mites from Helensrille. A constable has gone to make enquiries. Jjord Glasgow opened the chryxanthe* mum show to-day. It is the best yet held.
