NELSON. April 15.

The holidays have been the most mi-erable for yeara. There was a heavy southerly gjlewith rain all Saturday, and at night. Yesterday also was cold and wet. Today no rain fell, but if- was dull and threatening. There were no attractions in town, the only event of any kind being tho Friendly Societies' sports and flower show at Motatka. A fair number of exourMonists bare gone across.
