EASTER BOWLING TOURNAMENT.

Tho even tenour of tho tournament was interfered with to a great extent on Saturday by the inclemency of tho j weather, and it was decided to proceod , with the match North v. South on tho Phcenix green instead of continuing tho | four-bowl match. This decision was carried out, and as will bo seen from tho 6corea tho North suffered a severe beating at tho hands of the Southrons. Tho weather in the afternoon was cold, but the play ivas very good, especially of the Southern players. Saturday was to have been tho ladioa' day, but that event fell through owing to the wea'hor rendering outdoor festivities anything bub attractive. Tho ladies will feel the disappointmenb keenly, because they had mado every preparation for the entortainment of visitors and friends. To-day the fourbowl match will be continued at 9 a.m, sharp, but it is not now expected that the programmo will bo exhausted to-day. Tho following is tho rosult of Saturday's play; North v.
