The ground was slippery, and rain fell nt intervals during the match. A match Melrose v. Merivale was played at North Patk in wretched weather and Bloppy ground. The Melroso team was two men short, and their places were filed by Halliday and Meklehaiu of tho Sydenham Club The game was an even one r.nd uninteresting, each side scoring a try, and the result was a draw. Jackson scored for Melrose and Menzies for Meriviilo.
