ENGLISH WHEAT AND FLOUR MARKET.
Messrs Milks Brothers k Co., report under date London, March 28th :—: — Our market for wheat has been quiet during tho past month, but within tho last week or ten days there has been rather a better tone, and for Indian descriptions (fine qualities of which are gotting scarce) holders h*ye been enabled to make rather moremonoy. A good deal of wheat has been purchased from this market for Antwerp, Amsterdam, •nd various Continental ports, and Mar■eilles. Steamers from tho Blank Sea have boon ordered to Marseilles in lieu of the United Kingdom, the market there being dearer. New Zealand is soiling at from 30s to 40» up to 61i to 52s per 4961 ba according to Duality and condition, which continues to c very various. Adelaide wheat on pas■»ge (new mulity) offering at 55s C. F. and 1. por 4801bs j old on the spot, selling at 69* per 4961b* ex ship. A parcel New Zealand flour (rather out of condition) told recently at 36s landed ; perfect worth, 38s to 395.
