Tho Oamaru and Dunedin Steamship Co.'i a. i. Vtaitaki, Captain Edie, caino into port at 1 p.m. yesterday, with about 40 tons general cargo and a number of pasaengon. She left Port Chalmers at 8.30 a.m., and experienced strong westerly winds and fine WMther up the coast. Tho Waitaki leaves ugain for Dunedin at 11 a.m. to-day. The ketoh Defiance, Captain Burk, oame into port yesterday from Dunedin. The unloading of the barge Waratah has been seriously dolayed owing to the want of trucks, and the same cause will probably keep the Garron waiting a week or so beforo ■he will be ablo to make a start at taking out her cargo.
