NORTH OTAGO COURSING CLUB.

Tho adjourned monthly meeting of the Committoe of the above Club took place yesterday at the County Council Chamber. Present — Messrs Steward (chair), Lintott, Hedley, M'Auloy, and Ronayno, Hon. Sec. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. Soven applications were received for tho office of slipper. It was resolved that Mr James Marshall bo appointed for the May meeting. Tho following gentlemen were appointed Field Stewards, viz, Messrs G. M'Lean, E. Menlovo, N. Fleming, T. Brydone, R. MAuley, J. Spence, and G. S. Lintott ; Flag Steward, Mr A. Thomson, It was resolved that tho Secretary be ompowored to advertiso for and engage six beaters. Arrangements were also made for a person to take charge of hares killed. It was also ordered that SubInspector Smith bo asked to grant the services of a trooper on the day of meeting, and that Messrs Ronayne and Fleming be appointed to obtain horses for the judge. The following gentlemen were balloted for and elected members of the Club, viz., Messrs L. G. Fenwick, Maheno ; Alex. M'Lean, Waikakahi ; James Scott, Oamaru ; A. N. Oampboll, Dunedin ; J. S. Holmes, Castle Rock ; D. Toohoy, Oamaru ; James M'Donald, Tokomairiro ; and H. T. Murcott, Hampden. A small account was passed for payment. It was ordered that the first pair of dogs must be in the slips, on the 21st inst., at 9 a.m. The Committee then, after tho usual complimont to the chair, adjourned.
