DUNEDIN SPECIAL TELEGRAMS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Dunedin, May 8.
The first meeting of shareholders in Guthrie and Larnachs Woodware Factory was held this afternoon. The not profit realised on soven months' working amounts to L 15.180, which is to be appropriated as follows : — A dividend of 10 per cent., L 728 7; 2\ per cent, bonus, LlB2l ; carriod to rosorvo fund, L5OOO ; balance, LlO7l. The Dunedin Imuranco Companies intend presenting Captain Sinclair of the Fire Brigade with a testimonial ; ho rooently resigned. Dr Somervillo's services continue to fill the theatre twice daily. Bruce Todd, of Oamaru. was to-day awarded the scholarship given by tho Dunedin Presbytery, and tenable at tho University for three years, and of tho annual value of L 25.
