Dr Hector, by request, having tested tiio kerosene by which the late fatal accidont was caused, reports :—": — " The flashing point of this oil is 105 degrees Fahrenhoit, but after it has boon warmed to 110 degrees it flushes at 100 dogreos or even less. The oil is, thorefore, petroleum, and dangerous within the meaning of 4 Tho Dangerous Goods Act, 18G9, 1 and under tho 14 th clause, should not bo sold except in vessels marked ' Dangorous, no light to be brought near.' "
