ThoOamnru and Dunedin Steamship Co. 'a i.s. Waitaki, Captain Edio, came into port nt 1 p.m. yesterday, with fiO tons general cargo and a largo number of paasongors. She left Port Chalmers at the usual hour, anil experienced light N.E. winds and fine weather up tho coast. The Waitaki leaves again for Dunedin at 11 a.m. this day. Tho barqno Palace, Captain Homo, cleared outwards yesterday for Auckland, with a full cargo of produce. She left the Breakwater early in the morning and proceeded to the outer anchorage, whore sho took in a portion of her cargo which had been delayed. Tho schooner Maid of Otago hauled alongside tho wharf yesterday morning, and commenced discharging her cargo of timber. The barque Waratah has started to unload her cargo.
