Lemon, Postmaster.

B§§f" We hare been compelled unwillingly to strike off our list the names of a number of Subscribers who have not paid their subscriptions ; and have to renew our appeal to all Subscribers in arrear to pay up, otherwise they will also be struck off. In consequence of the Penny Stamp imposed on on Newspapers sent by Post, which came in force on 1st February, we are compelled to add 2s. 6d. Half-yearly to the price of Newspapers sent by Post to our Country Subscribers Persons who formerly hud their papers left at the Post-office here " until called for," will now receive them at our office ; and in all cases wherever papers can be forwarded otherwise than by post, we shall be happy to do so, if another mode of conveyance can be pointed out. It is not at all improbable, however, that this obnoxious tai may soon be removed, and, if so, those who paid in advance will be duly credited with the postage paid in advance.

Kg" Our Agent, Mr G-EORG-E MILNE, will wait upon our friends in the Country District in the course of a few days. He is authorised to collect accounts and transact business generally on our behalf.
