[CIRCULAR.] Dunedin, 24th Nov., 1861. DEAR SIR, We beg to intimate that we have made arrangements with Messrs DRIVER, MACLEAN & CO. to offer for Sale by Auction, at WOOL SALES to be periodically held during the Season, any Wools for which it may be desired to try the Dunedin market. The charges will be as follows : — On Sales effected, 2-J- per cent, commission, and proportion of advertising expenses. On Wool offered but not sold, merely proportion of advertising expenses. On Wool going into Store, the charge is £d. per lb. for receiving, weighing, classifying, and delivery. We feel assured that this method of Periodical Sales will be more satisfactory to Wool Growers, who will have the opportunity of offering their Wool to competition at their own limits, or shipping it direct should the limit not be obtained, without incurring more than trifling expence. It will also relieve us from occasional embarrassment arising from oui endeavoring to obtain the best price for our Constituents' Wool at a time when we may ourselves be in tho Market as buyers. We are, dear Sir, Yours faithfully, CARGILL & CO.
