Entire Horses.
ENTIBE DBAUGIIT HORSE, ROYAL OAK, WILL STAND this Season, alternately at tho Stations of Messrs HOLMES and GLEESON, Moeraki, and Messrs HOLMES and CAMPBELL, Totara. Boj al Oak, by the imported horse Tasman ; clam imported at the same time, and for which the sum of £300 was paid m Scotland, and the sire, by the most competent judges, was named the perfection of horse-flesh. Boyal Oak is now rising eight years old, rich dapple brown, sound, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter. He gamed seven first-class prizes before ho was imported to New Zealand, tho last of which was at the Smeaton Agricultural Show, Avhero he beat the imported horses " Young Clyde," " Black Champion," grey horse "Farmer's Glory," Mr Ilepburn's imported " Nugget ;" also, Colonial-bred horses "Inkerman," "Garibaldi," "Model,"' " Black Douglas," " Young Douglas/' " Warwick," and " Bay Champion." He also won the first prize at the Show of the Northern Agricultural Association at Oamaru last year, beating several good horses. Terms, £7 5s., groomage included ; and any mave missing will be served tho follow ing } ear, free of charge. Large and secure paddocks provided at both stations, but no responsibility incurred. Payments to be made before removal of mares.

Y'ounff Dougla«s is a rich dark brown, faultless m symmetry, very act no, a kind worker, and a certain foal getter His slock are strong and well di^positioned, and at all the exhibitions at which the;) have been shown they have obtained either iirst or second pracs. He has himself taken four firt-t and four second prizes in Melbourne and elsewhere Terms, £5 each ; groom 5s. £2 £s to be paid at time of serving ; balance at the end of the season. A good paddock will be provided at the farm, free for two months; afterwards 3s per week will be charged. Every care will be taken, but no responsibility. Payments to bo made before removal of mares.
