CHRISTMAS SPORTS ! MAREWHENUA RACES. ON BOXING DAY, 26th DECEMBER. A P.ACE MEETING will take place at the Marewhenua, on Boxing Day. Open to all horses that have not previously ran for public money, The first prize competed for will be a MARE, the property of MR JAMES LITTLE, Of the Marewhenua Hotel, And valued at L30, which will be run for by 15 horses, at an entry of L2 each. The winner will be guaranted L25 for the Mare. SADDLES, BRIDLES, etc., etc., will then be offered for competition, full particulars of which will be hereafter made public. . - _ * OTHER SPORTS, Of a varied character, will take place during the day. BOXING DAY, MONDAY, 26th DECEMBER.
