NELSON.

The " Nelson Colonist" has the following respecting the gold riisc^'ery at the Grey : — " The Nelson arrived here from the Grey and Buller, after a rapid passage of nineteen hours direct from the Buller Rivor, or about nine miles an hour throughout. There is no news from the Grey of any account. The gold does not appear to be plentiful. In fact, from what could be learned, very few of the men are doing anything, and some of the first lot who went from the Buller to the Grey, are reported to be addicted to rowdy practices. The gold news, therefore, does not appear to be favorable ; but the next trip of the steamer will probably settle the question of the nature of the Grey and the Teremakau district one way or other.
