HAMILTON'S.
Mr Warden Broad, under date of the 27th August, estimates the population of Hamilton's and neighboring diggings at 2385 — distributed as follows : Hamilton's, 230 miners, 100 others; Hyde, 1000 miners, 200 others ; Hindon, 200 miners, 50 others ; Sowburn, 80 miners, 20 others; Serpentine, 80 miners, 15 others ; Fullarton's, 120 miners, 20 others ; and 800 in other parts of the district.
