RULES AND REGULATIONS. Members and Subscribers to the Association, and members of any other Agricultural Society, to exhibit free. Any person can exhibit Stock on paying a foe of Two Pounds ; and Farm Produce, Imploments, &c, on paying a feo of Ten Shillings ; and Dairy Produce, Poultry, &c, on paying a fee of Two Shillings and Sixpence each exhibit. The name, residence, and district of the Exhibitor and Bvoedor, the brood of tho animal ho intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the Stock as far as known ; and of Sheep the time of shearing must be given to the Secretary, with entry One Month previous to the Show, or he will not be allowed to compete. All stock exhibited shall be bonafidc the property of tho exhibitor or his principal. No competitor will bo allowed to exhibit more than three lots of each description. Stock which cannot be shown in a competing class may be exhibited as Extra Stock. In no caeo shall a premium be adjudged, unless tho Judges shall deem tho lot to possess sufficient merit, more especially if only one lot is prosented for a premium. All stock for competition to bo taken into the Society's yards by eight o'clock on the niorning of the Exhibition, except horaos, which must be in the yard by 10 o'clock. Successful competitors for stock are at liberty to elect between money and medals. Letters with entries for stock should be received by the undersigned at Oamaru, not later than the 13th October; and for Poultry, Dairy and Farm Produce, &c, not later than the 3rd November.
