The latest notice of the wool market is the following, from tho " Evening Standard," of the 27th June ;—» The failure of the Conference, and the ■warlike aspect of political affairs have been productive of depression in the wool trade. The demand for English wool has coneidcrably fallen off, and prices have had a downward tendency 5 but in the value of colonial wool—notwithslading that the enquiry by privato contract, both for home use and export, is restricted—no material change has taken place. Lait week's import was 2632 bales from Port Philip, 5714 from Sydney, 1561 from Adelaide, 4008 from Hobart Town, 7146 from Melbourne, 3757 from New Zealand, and 465 from Mossel Bay."
