Samuel Beechy, shipwright, stated that he was engaged in repairing the Alma at Ilamsgate, and ho made her perfectly seaworthy. Captain Burstall, special agent of Lloyd's at Ra,nngate, proved that he had surveyed the Alma, and she was quite seaworthy when she left Bamspnte in the beginning of April.
