The liny, chaff, turnips, wheat, oats, and potato market is dull, the supply being greater than the consumption ; and owing to the heavy expeiibes of shipping cargo at tho port, producers arc unable to compete with growers in other nun-Lets. We quote &5 (Jd to Gs 9d PoiAiOLS — The otock in the market is not large. 13est Cm e Valley are selling at from £7 to £S per ton 11 \l commands from £7 to £8 per ton. B ii'LEY — The btoek la low, but demand small. We quote at 5b 9d.
