Personal Mrs. Marshall, assistant-mistress at Te Hua Hua, is away on holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Hall ai'e holidaying in Auckland and the Waikato. Mr. J Molloy has returned froi i a trip to Auckland. Mrs. Gladding, of Papatoetoe, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer and Annette leave on Wednesday for Hikurangi for a fortnight’s holiday. Mr. E. C. Reeve, of Te Hua Hua, has received notice of his transfer to Arohena. Mr. Tunniciift'e, of Te Karae, has received notice of his transfer to the Wellington district. Misses Nancy Andrewes, Murney Molloy and Master Des Andrei 1 , es are home for the school holidays. Mr. and Mrs. A. Cooper left Kol ukohu on Friday morning for Auckland where they intend making their futi re home. Mr. and Mrs. Yarborough ana Miss E. McDonald were visitors to Mangonui. Mrs. Man Farewelled On Monday Mrs. W Man was tendered an evening in the supper room of the town hall, by the members of the Methodist church, on the eve of her departure Iron Kohukohu for Whangn; ei. * * * * Kohukohu Eli Fete The town has been :>aily decorated and an arch has been erected at the post office and business premises have all been dressed with greenery and national colours and altogether a verj festive appearance is presented. * * * « Football In a football match, Broadwood defeated Motukaraka by 12 points to 0.
