Cricket Match.
HEREKINO v. VICTORIA VALLEY. (From a Correspondent.) A match was played between teams representing the above-named clubs at Victoria Valley on November 26th. As it was the opening match of the season, and the maiden game of the Herekino club, it occasioned considerable enthusiasm, and quite a number of spectators were present. The game commenced at 10.30 a.m., and stumps were drawn at 6.30 p.m., and, as Herekino played out time they wore declared victors on the scores of the first innings.
