Loss of a Yacht.

Six Persons Aboard. A small yacht, containing six persons, viz., Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner and two children, Mr. Lee, and another person, name unknown, is supposed to have been wrecked while going from Whananaki (Whangarei) to Corbett’s, Mimiwhangata. The boat left Whananaki on Tuesday, and it is supposed she has been Swamped, as wreckage came ashore at Taihimiru, 20 miles south, amongst the articles found being some fowls, clothes, blankets-and a saddle cloth. A telegram received by Inspector Cullen states that Mr. Blake, of Pq£ua Bay, found a small yacht wrecked' on the beach near Parua, and brought it ashore. In it he found some telegrams and photographs and a woman’s clothes.
