Victoria Valley C.C.
(From a Correspondent). The annual meeting of the above club was held in the schoolroom, Victoria Valley, on Saturday evening, October Ist, there being present a considerable number of enthusiastic cricketers. Mr. H. H. Thompson occupied the chair. The balance-sheet was read and approved. It showed that amounts aggregating £3O 3/- had passed through the treasurer’s hands since ths., commencement of last season. A considerable amount of discussion took place with regard to the laying down of the concrete pitch, and the formation of rules for weekly practices. A committee, consisting of the following, was chosen for the Messrs. H. H, Them Panther, * ■. :
